Project Theta is an offline-first application. Your trade data, journal entries, and portfolio information are stored locally on your computer. We do not have access to your trading data.

We may collect the following limited information:

Email address (provided during purchase via LemonSqueezy)
License key activation status
Basic device information for license validation (hardware identifier)

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Your trade data, positions, or portfolio information
Broker account credentials or API keys
CSV files you import into the application
Analytics, strategy configurations, or journal entries
Usage telemetry or behavioral analytics

4. How We Use Your Data

The limited data we collect is used solely for:

Processing your purchase and delivering the software
License key validation and activation
Sending product update notifications (if opted in)
Responding to support requests

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

LemonSqueezy — Payment processing and license management. Subject to their own privacy policy.
Cloudflare — Website hosting and delivery.

6. Data Storage & Security

All trade data is encrypted locally on your device using SQLCipher (AES-256 encryption) with a key derived from your hardware identifier. Your data never leaves your computer. We cannot access, recover, or read your local database.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request deletion of your purchase data from our records
Opt out of update notifications
Export or delete all local application data at any time

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
